Background

In a way, I find traditional rugs very comforting and a source of security. I believe this feeling is tied to how when I was small, I would lay on our living room rug whenever I was feeling unwell, and how the temple I grew up attending had a nice rug. Beside the comforting textural aspect, I also would hyperfocus on the patterns and details whenever I wanted a distraction.
