Background

The tile is a common design in Vietnam and is also used in my family’s home I usually stay at when I visit. The background was pulled from my interest in Japanese landscape block prints at the time.

Outside of the tiles, the rest of the work is simplistic to act as breathing room and to put emphasis on the tiles being a grounding element.
