Background

The design is a connection between two homes tied to my childhood, one in my hometown in Texas and the other in the city my parents are from in Vietnam.

When we were younger, my sister and I used to place glow in the dark stars on the walls and ceiling of our bedroom, in which I was stare at often at night. The room in the design is from a family member’s house I stay at during visits to Vietnam ever since I was 10.
