Background

Reference to the streets of Vietnam and street vendors.

Originally the colors were going to be more lighter leaning / pastel, however, it didn’t feel right so I decided to pull a connection to my dad given 09 being his birthday month. This led to a major shift in color scheme, with richer colors and greater contrast. I find him to be a rather strong character with the red and green, and I also associate a lighter pink color to him. For that, I would say it’s related to how he’d play tea party with my sister and I when we were tiny in our backyard.
