This piece corresponds to the month my grandma passed. I consider her passing and corresponding events during then in my life to cause to a major shift in how I go about what I value.

The items are what I remember being on my grandma’s desk and/or items I associate her with when I was with her during our day to day. Due to color restrictions I put on myself, I made the prayer beads green to tie in how she always wore her jade bracelet. It would be more accurate to have the prayer beads be that of wood.
